Let's Collaborate
My name is Malcolm Keif. I have a strong background in data analytics, data modeling and workflow automation from teaching these subjects at Cal Poly and RIT over several years.
I have spent the vast majority of my career in academia working as a professor at Univ. of Central Missouri, Cal Poly and Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). While that may sound too theoretical for some, I am entrepreneurial at heart and have spent most of my higher-ed career solving business problems, not theoretical problems. My department at Cal Poly focuses on graphics, marketing and print manufacturing, and my focus within that space has largely been on research, workflow optimization, data analytics and process improvement.
As a data enthusiast, I am a voracious learner. I am inquisitive and use curiosity as a way to drive experimentation. Actionable insights are a result of observation, curiosity and applying proven research approaches such as hypothesis testing, correlation and regression analysis, analysis of variance and DOE methodologies. Data is the DNA that facilitates innovation. I look forward to working with you on your data science projects.
