I’m Malcolm and I optimize Data workflows for Graphics, Print, and Marketing applications.
Many of your data challenges are solvable, but it may take work to ensure you are collecting the right data, in the right way. And even then, you may need to transform that data using tools like Knime, Tableau Prep, Alteryx, or some other data workflow tool. Ensuring your data is clean, with the appropriate data type, and in a tidy form, is the secret to starting your data visualization.
I have a strong background in data analytics, data modeling and workflow automation from teaching these subjects at Cal Poly and RIT over the decades. My work focuses on data used in printing, graphics, and marketing.
I have spent the vast majority of my career in academia working as a professor at Univ. of Central Missouri, Cal Poly and Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). As a data enthusiast, I am a voracious learner. I am inquisitive and use curiosity as a way to drive experimentation.
Actionable insights are a result of observation, curiosity and applying proven research approaches such as hypothesis testing, correlation and regression analysis, analysis of variance and DOE methodologies. Data is the DNA that facilitates innovation. I look forward to working with you on your data projects.
